Notice of refusal to execute agreements with an individual on opening a current account and issuing a payment card

Dear individual clients – holders of current bank accounts with ATFBank JSC, opened on January 1, 2018 or later!

ATFBank JSC (hereinafter – Bank) hereby kindly informs that, in accordance with subparagraph 1) of paragraph 1 of Article 29 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On payments and payment systems” (hereinafter – Law), the bank has the right to refuse to execute the bank account agreement (to close the current bank account) if that bank account of the client had zero balance for more than one (1) year.

At the same time, in accordance with paragraph 7 of Article 29 of the Law, in the event of a zero balance in the client’s bank account, the bank shall terminate the bank account agreement and close the bank accounts upon the expiry of three (3) months from the date of notification on the refusal to execute the bank account agreement.

In view of the above, the Bank hereby notifies you of the closure of current bank accounts (termination of agreements with an individual on opening a current account and issuing a payment card), opened on January 1, 2018 or later, the balance on which was 0 (zero) for more than last twelve (12) months, and which will continue to have zero balance for three (3) months after this Notice is posted.

Note: This Notice does not apply to current bank accounts opened for carrying out transactions related to entrepreneurial activities, notarial activities, advocacy, execution of enforcement sheets or settlement of disputes through mediation.
